BOOM! at the Glasgow Style Mile Christmas Carnival

We had lots of fun at the Glasgow 2018 Carnival in the Summer, and we’re really happy to have been asked back by the organisers to take part in the Glasgow Style Mile Christmas Carnival on Sunday 25th November!

We’ll be taking the Ice Queen and Jack Frost, along with their icy entourage, to help Glasgow welcome in the festive season.  If you’d like to come and be part of our group, we’re running FREE workshops on the following dates at the St Matthew’s Centre on Balmore Road, where you can make a simple costume, mask, and help us make pom-pom snowballs to give out to the audience.

  • Wednesday 14th November, 5pm – 7pm

  • Thursday 15th November, 5pm – 7pm

  • Wednesday 20th November, 5pm – 7pm

The Carnival takes place on Sunday 25th November, we’ll be meeting at about 1.30pm, and the parade will take place from 2.30pm-3.30pm.

All of the workshops and the event are child-friendly, but you must be accompanied by an adult.

There’s more information on our Facebook page – and drop us a line at boomcommunityart[at]gmail.com if you’ve got any questions.  Hope to see you there!
