About us
Boom! is a Community Arts Hub in North Glasgow. Our mission is to transform lives and strengthen communities through art: delivering creative, exciting, and accessible arts projects in response to local need.
We were started by a group of local people who believe in the ability of art to transform lives. We recognised that there weren't enough community arts opportunities in North Glasgow, so we decided to start running our own workshops. In 2017, we were awarded charity status and we have been growing ever since.
Here are some of the activities we run:
We host regular art workshops in Possilpark
We run additional workshops at local community events
We also love to get involved with any community activities in the local area, like Possilpark Loves Christmas.
We’re a tiny charity, with no premises. We’re learning as we go. We are always happy to chat: drop us a line if you’d like to know more!
