Welcome to the new website

To celebrate the launch of our new website I’m going to say a few words…Firstly hello everyone :-)

Secondly, welcome to the new website. I hope you enjoy the new style and layout as much as I enjoyed making it, so nice to see our content hosted in a shiny new site.

I have really enjoyed my months with BOOM! as Project Coordinator getting to know everyone and better understand all the important work that is done by the board members, all the artists leading the workshops and most importantly all of our lovely participants. I can see how much everyone enjoys what we do and how important being offered a creative outlet is. Even more so in the last while during these pandemic-y times, I know doing a variety of crafty things has helped me though the last year and a bit.

Finally, please let me, or your workshop artist, know if you have any suggestions or ideas for workshop activities, this could be wanting to learn to crochet, make use of old news papers, how to do a particular painting thing or anything really….the crafting world is our oyster and we’d love to know what you’d like to do.

This is a rather old picture, back when were were able to do things…but it seems I have been rather camera shy while we’ve not been doing much since who needs a picture of yourself on your own sofa!!!
